Registration Information
Contact the University Within the University (U2)
office to register. Registering ensures there are
enough seats and materials. We greatly appreciate
your time to register in advance; therefore, our
goal is to confirm your registration immediately.
In addition, we aim to provide a courtesy reminder
2-business days prior to the workshop or to notify
you if it was canceled.
Register with U2 by:
Create Login and Register for Sessions
- Click on Sessions.
- To register for a session, click Click
here to create a new account. Fill
in the required information including a username
and password. After submitting the new user
information, your personal info page should
appear. At this point, you are logged into
the site.
- Click on Session List in the
PERSONAL INFORMATION section. This will take
you to the Sessions available to register.
- To add a session to your cart, click on the Sponsor or Title of
the session.
- Next, a session details page will appear with
additional information regarding the session.
The menu in the upper right will have several
options. One of the options is Add Session
to Cart. This will add the session to
your cart.
- The next page will show your cart contents.
Again, the menu in the upper right corner will
have several options. One of these options is Enroll
in sessions. This will enroll you in
the sessions that were in your cart.
- The final page is the submittal page telling
the user that they have requested registration
to the sessions that are indicated on the page.
At this point, an email is sent to U2 with the
user information and the sessions that they requested
registration.
NOTE: For fee-based workshops,
or to buy an optional computer manual, include
your payment in advance via: check, credit, exact
cash, or for ID Bill payment, bring 2 copies including:
a Reference Number, Signature, and Fund/Department
Codes.
To Cancel:
Fee-based workshops incur no charge if you cancel
in less than 48-hours, but if you cancel in less
than 48-hours from the start of the workshop, there
will be a charge of one-half the workshop fee in
accordance with the University Within the University
Cancellation Policy. For the majority of workshops,
there is no charge, it is an employee benefit;
For these, please notify us as soon as possible
to cancel.
The University Within the University is designed
to coordinate the planning and delivery of campus
professional development and training activities
for UND employees through an integrated approach
to needs assessment, planning, marketing and program
delivery.
Partners in the University Within the University
program include the President's Office, Division
of Continuing Education, Human Resources, and UND
units providing professional development activities.
