DM 3985: Sports Nutrition
'

Fundamentals of nutrition as it relates to athletes. Useful for coaches, athletic trainers, teachers, parents.

 

Interest in sports nutrition for athletes of all ages has heightened over the past few years, as links to performance and nutrition have been made. There is no shortage of "misinformation" about sports nutrition for the public. There is a need for accurate but user friendly information for athletes, parents, coaches, athletic trainers, and teachers. This certificate course will provide accurate and current information from a qualified instructor.

  • Course Author: Becky Westereng, RD
  • Number of Lessons: Six, no proctored examination.
  • CEUs or Clock Hours: 3.6 CEUs (30 clock hours).
  • Textbooks: This course is designed in a self-contained workbook format; the workbook contains all the assigned reading plus instructions for the written assignments.
  • Fees: $125 fee plus $15 shipping/handling.
