DM 3984: Basics of Medical Terminology

Basic, yet thorough introduction to understanding medical terminology in a healthcare setting.

A basic yet thorough knowledge and understanding of medical terminology is essential for those practitioners working in a health care setting. With today's complex and intensive requirements for chart review and completion of medical documents, the need for an increased understanding is evident. This course will provide students with the skills needed to read and understand medical terminology. Appropriate for any health care professional.
