North Dakota Real Estate Principles Pre-Licensure Course

This Real Estate Course Offers:

Course Completion

Upon successful completion you receive a completion certificate and a transcript showing 5.4 Continuing Education Units (CEU's) earned from the Division of Continuing Education, University of North Dakota. The CEU is a nationally accepted standard for measuring and recording noncredit continuing education coursework. In addition, we notify the North Dakota Real Estate Commission of your successful course completion. If you are interested in taking the State and National Licensing Exam, you must call the ND Real Estate Commissioner's Office at 701-328-9749. You must register at least 20 days before the exam is given.

Computer Requirements for Online Courses

The computer you use must meet the minimum technical requirements listed below:

  • Windows 95 or 98 or Mac OS 7.6.1
  • 16 MB of RAM
  • 10 MB of hard disk space
  • 28.8 Kbps Modem
  • Web browser, 4.0 configured to accept cookies
  • An active e-mail account and access to the internet

Textbooks can be ordered through MBS Direct

Extensions

You are given three months to complete the course. Should you need more time, you can request a 3-month extension. You may request up to two 3-month extensions. Each extension is $50.00.

How to Register

Registration is easy:

  • Register online.
  • Print out the brochure for the basic course, complete the application form and submit it by mail or fax.
  • Call our office at 1-877-450-1841 or (701) 777-4269.
  • Apply in person at Gustafson Hall on the University of North Dakota campus.

Note: Registration will not be processed until payment is received unless prior arrangements have been made with the Office of Certificate Programs.
