A course for credit is a course that is taken in pursuit of a degree or for personal or professional growth.

We offer several ways to take a course for credit:

  1. Correspondence & Online Studies offers correspondence (by mail) and online courses.
  2. Distance Degree Programs offers courses
    • online
    • face-to-face (North Dakota only)
    • Interactive Video Network (IVN) (North Dakota only)
    • on-campus (UND in Grand Forks) courses

Prior to taking a course for credit, you must be admitted to UND.  Students may be admitted in a non-degree-seeking status for up to 12 credits.
