Online Graduate Certificate in
Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

'

How Can I Earn My Master's Degree While I Work?

With the Autistic Spectrum Disorders online program, you can earn your graduate certificate from the University of North Dakota without interrupting your career or leaving your family. The entire ASD Graduate Certificate is offered online; you are not required to come to campus at any time.

As an online student, you will participate in most class activities at the time and place of your choice. You will used Web-based tools to view weekly 60-minute class lectures (90 minutes for summer courses), access related assessment demonstrations, complete assigned readings, and participate in threaded discussions on topics posted by your instructor throughout the semester. For some of the courses, you will work with a child who has (or is suspected of having) ASD.

In addition, you will participate in weekly 45-minute live chat sessions (75 minutes for summer courses). Your instructor will schedule the time for the live chat sessions during the first week of class. Every effort will be made to schedule chat sessions around students' work schedules.

"I enjoy being able to work fulltime and attend classes. I also enjoy that I can do my coursework on my time." - ASD Student
