Online Graduate Certificate in
Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

UND's course rotation allows you to begin earning your ASD Graduate Certificate every Fall Semester. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, with application review beginning July 1.

Admission Requirements

To be admitted to the ASD Graduate Certificate Program, you must have:

•  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: general education (PreK-12), special education, communication disorders, occupational therapy, physical therapy, pre-medicine, nursing, social work, adaptive physical education, recreation therapy, or music therapy.

•  An undergraduate GPA of 2.75 overall or a GPA of 3.00 in the last two years of your undergraduate program.

Note: If you do not meet the admission standards, you may be admitted on a provisional basis with continued enrollment contingent on successful performance in the program.

Process

To apply to the program, you will need to complete the UND Graduate School application form, submit your transcripts, and pay a non-refundable application fee. It is preferred that you to submit your application materials online to the Graduate School, which then transmits the materials to the ASD Certificate Program Director for review.

Must be admitted to UND before registering for any classes.
