Degree Completion Program

The Information Systems completion program is intended
for students who have completed the business core
curriculum (see Required Business
Courses)
and now wish to complete their degree at a distance
or for those who have previously earned a BBA and
would like to pursue and additional major in information
systems without having to leave their current place
of employment. The focus of this program is on the
required junior and senior level courses for the
major. Courses will follow the academic semester
set by the University of North Dakota. Admission
to UND is required to enroll in the Information Systems
program and can occur at any time during the year.

With the increase in the use of technology in all
aspects of our lives, the Information Systems degree
program is in demand. Information Systems graduates
can pursue careers as systems administrators, systems
analysts, webmasters and web designers, database
administrators, software developers, business analysts,
program analysts, IS consultants, technology support
analysts, records managers, records analysts, records
retention managers, office managers, managers of
administration services, managers of computer-based
information systems, equipment and system vendors,
and a wide variety of traditional and emerging positions
within the broad information industry.
