Code of Student Life

The Code of Student Life outlines the rights and responsibilities enjoyed by the students, faculty, and staff who make up the University of North Dakota community. The purpose of the information contained in the Code is to promote and maintain a learning environment appropriate for an institution of higher education and to serve as a basic guide to help prevent abuse of the rights of others. Members of the University community are expected to be familiar with the rules and regulations contained within the Code and to act in compliance with them at all times. The Code of Student Life can be viewed at: http://www.und.edu/dept/csl/

UND Campus Connection

Campus Connection can be used to view your list of enrolled courses, view your account balance, view your grades, as well as many other features. The university (business office, registrar's office, etc.) will only use U-mail to notify students of important dates, deadlines, and statements. Information about accesing Campus Connection and U-mail can be found at https://www.und.edu/dept/registrar/campusconnection/index.htm

If you need help with this process contact the NDUS Help Desk at 1.866.457.6387.

Payment Policy
Statements are not mailed.
To access your business account, financial aid and registration information go to Student Account Services.

All balances due must be paid by the deadline unless a deferment is arranged with the Business Office. For Fall and Spring semester a late payment penalty of $200 will be assessed to all students who have not paid their tuition and fees or received a deferment by the deadline . Students who have not paid their tuition and fees by the deadline may be canceled and will not be allowed to re-register for that semester. (Note: Do not assume you will be dropped if you don't pay). A registered student will assume the financial obligation for their University charges. Students need to officially drop/withdraw if unable to attend. Questions regarding tuition and fee payment may be directed to the Business Office at 701.777.3911.
Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice.

For additional transcript information visit http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/registrar/trans/TransVerifi.htm

Student ID

Distance students can order their official UND student ID card. This is the same card that is used on campus.

Distance students request IDs so that they can take advantage of local special deals reserved for students. The card will have your ID number as well as a library barcode and number.

New UND Policy no longer allows bar-coded IDs without pictures. Students must submit a photo to be used on the ID. It should be a portrait type photo, with the student as the only subject. The campus Passport office will take a picture of your photo to use on the ID card. Obviously, large, clear photos will have better results than smaller, poor quality ones. You must submit a photo that is 3 x 5 inches (7.5 x 12.5 cm) or larger. (NO POLAROIDS)

IDs will not be sent until a photo is received by the Campus Passport office. Send photos (with your name, address, e-mail, phone, social security number, ID number) to:

Teresa Blilie
Campus Passport ID
PO Box 9043
Grand Forks ND 58202-9043

The cost is $15.00, which will be charged to your UND account. You will receive a bill from the university in the mail.

Disability Access

Individuals requesting disability-related accommodations in their classes should contact Disability Support Services at 701.777.3425 voice/TTD, at least two weeks in advance to ensure appropriate accommodations can be arranged.
