Admission Requirements
  • Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Possession of a master's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Completion of a minimum of 20 semester credits of appropriate and specified undergraduate work
  • A cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 for all undergraduate work or a GPA of at least 3.00 for the last two years of undergraduate work
  • A cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 for all graduate work completed
  • Completion of all departmental requirements
  • Completion of admission materials

*Additional requirements may apply depending on the doctoral degree program you pursue.

Note: If your GPA is below the minimum, you may be considered for provisional admission. You may be required to submit MAT or GRE test scores or other supportive materials before your applications for full admission will be considered. You also may be required to successfully complete a minimal number of credits in the program before your applications for full admission will be considered.

Admission Process

To be admitted to the EDL Doctoral Program, it is preferred that you to submit your application materials online to the UND Graduate School, which then transmits the materials to the Department of Educational Leadership for review.
