The faculty will consider your requirements on a case-by-case basis if you have already completed one or more of these courses or their equivalents.   The cognate or minor may include courses from the student's masters degree program, other graduate courses already completed and acceptable for inclusion in a cognate or minor for a doctoral program of study. It also may include courses to be taken prior to, concurrent with, or following the sequence of courses provided to the cohort.

  As a doctoral EDL student, you will be expected to have completed (or to complete soon after admission) the major courses related to a master's degree in educational leadership or their equivalents.
