Computer Requirements
for Online Courses
You first need access to a computer with an Internet connection. The following
basic software requirements are required for you to participate in your online
course. Computer hardware requirements will depend upon the technical level
of the course as determined by your instructor. Please
refer to your course syllabus or instructor for more information.
- Minimum 1 GHz Processor or higher
- Minimum of 500MB available hard disk space
USB/Firewire Web Camera
USB Headset/Microphone
Minimum DSL/Cable internet connection. Dial-up Modem is not acceptable.
(wired connection recommended)
Minimum monitor resolution 800 x 600 (1024 x 768 or higher recommended)
