Admission Requirements & Process
You can begin earning your online GISc Graduate
Certificate every Summer Semester. Review
of applications submitted to the UND Graduate School will
begin April 1 and will be accepted through June 1
or until the program is full. Space
is limited so get started TODAY to ensure your placement
in the program.
To be admitted to the GISc Graduate Certificate
Program, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited
college or university
- Cumulative GPA
of at least 2.75 for all undergraduate work
Note: If
you do not meet the GPA admission standard, you
may be admitted on a provisional basis with continued
enrollment contingent on successful performance
in the program.
It is preferred that you to submit your application
materials online to the
UND Graduate School, which then transmits the materials
to the Department of Geography for review. For current
application procedures and the online application
