Tuition and fee statements are not mailed.
Summer Session Tuition and Fees are due by June 20, 2008

Access your account balance, financial aid, review your registration information and print a receipt through Campus Connection at http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/registrar/campusconnection
     Navigate to your account information by clicking the following:
         Student Self Service >> Learner Services >> Finances >> Student Account Detail
              OR View Statements/Pay Online Now

select eBill at the top of the page


Textbooks

Order through Barnes and Noble Bookstore

Order your textbooks early to ensure you have them in time to begin your course.  Textbooks are available through Barnes and Noble on the UND campus or online at www.whywaitforbooks.com .

1. Select North Dakota
2. Select University of North Dakota
3. Select the term of your course
4. Select the department of your course
5. Select your course by course number
6. Select your section by using the class number
    found on your Campus Connection course schedule
7. Click Add Course
8. Click View Textbook List on the right
     to select which textbook(s) you wish to purchase and checkout

The system will prompt you to register, but will also let you check out as a guest. The benefit of registering is that you will be able to revisit your order if you need to make a change.

You can use your financial aid charge account at the bookstore during the fall and spring semesters. To do so, make sure to enter your EMPLID number in the required field.

Your textbooks can be shipped, or you can choose to pick them up at the UIND Barnes and Noble campus bookstore prior to the start of classes.

 


Geog 591 - Directed Study in Geographical Problems - 3 credits
     Final course for current cycle of students

Description: A capstone experience in which students demonstrate the GISc skills and
knowledge they have acquired through the completion of a project.
To be arranged with instructor/advisor.


Geog 471 - Cartography and Computer-Assisted Mapping - 2 credits
Corequisite: Geog 471L
     Beginning course for new cycle of students

Instructor:

Description: Principles of graphic communication and skills for producing maps and charts using computer technology. It involves creating both geographic and attribute databases for graphic display of points, lines, areas, and surfaces. Data analysis, classing techniques, history of cartography, and projections are also discussed.


Geog 471L - Computer Mapping Laboratory - 1 credit
Corequisite: Geog 471
     Beginning course for new cycle of students

Dates: June 23-August 1, 2008
Instructor:

Description: Knowledge of computer operating systems and competency to use various mapping software packages to produce accurate and aesthetically pleasing maps and charts. Students implement projects and organize their finished products into a portfolio for presentation.
