Who should apply to the School Counseling Distance Program?

If you are seeking a career as a counselor at the elementary, middle, or high school level, the School Counseling Distance Program is designed for you.

The part-time, distance School Counseling program is designed for working professionals who are unable to complete a full-time, on-campus program. You are required to participate in brief on-campus visits held periodically throughout the program.

Typically, school counseling students have educational backgrounds in behavioral or social sciences with undergraduate degrees in:

  • Education
  • Psychology
  • Child Development
  • Social Work
