Admission
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited
college or university with a behavioral or social
science major allied with psychology, i.e., psychology,
criminal justice, sociology, counseling or social
work.
- A cumulative undergraduate grade
point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above, or a graduate
GPA of at least 3.75.
- The GRE requirement has been
dropped.
- Submission of a 250-300 word essay
discussing your reasons for pursuing a graduate
degree in forensic psychology.
- Submission of three letters of recommendation
from those who can comment on your academic abilities.
Note: If
you do not meet these admission standards, you
may be admitted on a provisional basis with continued
enrollment contingent on successful performance
in the program. Consideration will also be given
if you have prior experience of working in forensic
areas.

You can
begin earning your online
forensic psychology
graduate degree every
fall, spring or summer
semester. Applications
are accepted on an ongoing
basis or until the program
is full, with application
review deadlines for:
Fall
Semester - August 1
Spring
Semester - December 1
Summer
Semester - April 15

Step 1 --Apply for UND admission first. If you have questions about your admission process, please call toll free 877.450.1842 and ask for graduate admissions. Apply for Graduate Admissions at http://www.und.edu/dept/grad/
Step 2 --Talk with an advisor. If you have not talked with an advisor, you will want to do this prior to registering, please call toll free 877.450.1842 to identify the appropriate advisor for your program.
Step 3 -- After you
are admitted, you are
eligible to register for
your course(s). To register
through Campus Connection
(PeopleSoft), you will
need to fill out a Special
Permission number form
which can be found at http://www.conted.und.edu/ddp/spn. After
filling out the information
on the Special Permission
form and clicking submit
you will be given a Special
Permission number for
each class. Be sure to
print a copy of that page.
You will be prompted to
access Campus Connection
at http://www.und.edu/dept/registrar/campusconnection/index.htm.
