Registration for Summer Semester and Fall Semester begins April 1, 2008

Tuition and fee statements are not mailed.
Summer Session Tuition and Fees are due by June 20, 2008

Access your account balance, financial aid, review your registration information and print a receipt through Campus Connection at http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/registrar/campusconnection
     Navigate to your account information by clicking the following:
         Student Self Service >> Learner Services >> Finances >> Student Account Detail
              OR View Statements/Pay Online Now
              OR
select eBill at the top of the page


Textbooks

Order through Barnes and Noble Bookstore

Order your textbooks early to ensure you have them in time to begin your course.  Textbooks are available through Barnes and Noble on the UND campus or online at www.whywaitforbooks.com .

1. Select North Dakota
2. Select University of North Dakota
3. Select the term of your course
4. Select the department of your course
5. Select your course by course number
6. Select your section by using the class number
    found on your Campus Connection course schedule
7. Click Add Course
8. Click View Textbook List on the right
     to select which textbook(s) you wish to purchase and checkout

The system will prompt you to register, but will also let you check out as a guest. The benefit of registering is that you will be able to revisit your order if you need to make a change.

You can use your financial aid charge account at the bookstore during the fall and spring semesters. To do so, make sure to enter your EMPLID number in the required field.

Your textbooks can be shipped, or you can choose to pick them up at the UIND Barnes and Noble campus bookstore prior to the start of classes.

 


Psy 528 - Forensic Psychology Capstone - 2 credits

On-Campus

Dates: July 21-August 1, 2008
Instructor: Doug Peters

Description: The capstone course provides students an opportunity during the summer at UND to meet the faculty and forensic students and share the results of their Independent Study. Students will also work on a team project related to developing an amicus brief. This two-week course is required for all MA forensic psychology students and should be taken during the summer semester of their anticipated summer graduation.


Psyc 575 - Behavior Pathology - 3 credits

Description: Prerequisites: Psychology 270 and consent of instructor.
A survey of various forms of behavior pathology with emphasis upon current research and theories relating to pathology.


Psy 576 - Child Psychopathology and Treatment - 3 credits

Description: Prerequisites: Psychology 570 and 575 or instructor permission.
An overview of child and developmental psychopathology including discussion of pertinent treatments for disorders such as conduct disorders, attention-deficit, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities.


Psy 593 - Readings in Psychology - 1-3 credits

Dates: May 12-August 1, 2008

Description: Prerequisites: advanced standing in psychology and consent of instructor.


Psy 997 - Independent Study- 2 credits

Dates: May 12-August 1, 2008
To be arranged with Advisor

Description: The Independent Study course requires a student to complete an original empirical study based on either a research investigation or a scholarly, integrative, review paper on a topic of interest within the field of forensic psychology.
