Admission Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution.
  • Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE).
  • Minimum competence in public administration policy, administrative services, and methodology.
    • Competence is demonstrated by the successful completion of at least one course in the following areas:
      Political Science, Accounting, Economics, Management and Statistics by special exams in the fields, or by practical experience.
  • Twenty hours in the Social Sciences, Business Administration and related fields.

Students who do not meet the requirements will be given the opportunity to fulfill them.

Degree Requirements

  • Minimum of 32 semester credits.
  • Minimum of 23 credits in public administration and up to 9 credits in cognate fields.
  • Minimum of 16 credits at the 500 level.
  • Maximum of 8 credits may be transferred to UND from other institutions.
  • Complete degree required courses.
  • Pass Final Exam.
Must be admitted to UND before registering for any classes.
