The MPA degree is designed to help people from a variety of undergraduate disciplines develop management and analytical skills. The program is ideal for those currently in-service to strengthen skills and confidence and for pre-service individuals wishing to improve their skills and credentials.

This degree provides the professional instruction necessary for the challenges of today's administrative positions.

The MPA program is designed to produce generalist administrators who can work in all levels of government and the nonprofit and private sectors of business. A health track is available for those interested in health-related careers.

UND graduates will develop understanding and skills in critical areas such as leadership, human resource development, fiscal management, ethics, research, methods, policy, and governmental institutions.

MPA Health Administration Track

The Health Administration track is designed to prepare people with diverse backgrounds already in the health care industry or those wishing to enter the fast growing and rapidly changing health care profession. The health concentration will be obtained by completing four health-related courses as part of the MPA course work.
