The MPA degree is designed to help people from
a variety of undergraduate disciplines develop
management and analytical skills. The program is
ideal for those currently in-service to strengthen
skills and confidence and for pre-service individuals
wishing to improve their skills and credentials.
This degree provides the professional instruction
necessary for the challenges of today's administrative
positions.
The MPA program is designed to produce generalist
administrators who can work in all levels of government
and the nonprofit and private sectors of business.
A health track is available for those interested
in health-related careers.
UND graduates will develop understanding and skills
in critical areas such as leadership, human resource
development, fiscal management, ethics, research,
methods, policy, and governmental institutions.
MPA Health Administration
Track
The Health Administration track is designed to
prepare people with diverse backgrounds already
in the health care industry or those wishing to
enter the fast growing and rapidly changing health
care profession. The health concentration will
be obtained by completing four health-related courses
as part of the MPA course work.
