Application Review Begins November 1, 2007

The University of North Dakota 's Master of Science in Elementary Education (thesis or non-thesis) prepares you to create learner-centered learning environments supported by numerous resources, including technology tools. As a student in the program, you will be encouraged to:

•  work more intensely with individuals
•  be more effective as classroom teachers
•  make a broader contribution to the education field

Through the master's program you will gain multiple experiences related to current curriculum, instructional practices and alternative assessment strategies. You will acquire field experiences in K-6 classrooms throughout the program and will enhance your professional development and reflective practice.

As a UND distance student, you will have the benefit of arranging your classes around your schedule while receiving the personal instruction right in your area. All classes are delivered face-to-face in Fargo, ND, with no travel to the UND campus required.
