The College of Education offers a doctoral program in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Higher Education to students in Bismarck, North Dakota area.

This doctoral program is the only one in the state of North Dakota. This is a degree for professionals who teach, or want to teach, in higher education. This degree is for professionals in disciplines for which it is difficult to obtain a terminal degree.

The courses are held in the Bismarck, North Dakota area only and follow a semester based schedule. Students normally meet once a week for four hours or every other weekend for eight hours.
