How
Can I Earn My Degree While I Work?
With the RN/BSN or the RN/MS Programs, you can
earn your advanced degree from the University of
North Dakota without placing your career on hold.*
With Web-based, online nursing courses, you will
receive the convenience of distance learning with
the personal contact and connection of "live" instruction.
Plus, you may access recorded course content through
the Internet at any time.
As an online student, you may participate in class
sessions that are conducted "live" over the Internet
(held at set times that are convenient for students,
such as in the evenings and/or weekends), or you
may review recorded class sessions at any time.
During "live" class sessions, you will use Web-conferencing
technology to interact with your instructors and
other students. You will be able to see your instructors'
materials as though you were sitting in a classroom
on the UND campus. In this manner, the class lectures,
discussion, and collaboration are conducted in
a very similar fashion to traditional on-campus
classes. Or, you may set your own schedule by reviewing
recorded classroom lectures and discussions that
are "stored" and accessed through the Internet
at any time.
*Depending on the nursing specialization you choose
for the RN/MS degree program, you may need to take
some of the master-level courses offered on campus
in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
