Certificate Programs
A variety of certificate programs are available either by mail (correspondence) or online. You can take these courses to prepare for entry or advancement in a career or for personal enrichment.
You may enroll in a course for Continuing Education Units (CEUs - one CEU equals ten contact hours) or clock hours at any time. Completion times and length of these courses vary.

Office of Conference Services
From pre-conference planning and on-site support to post-conference reporting, the Office of Conference Services (OCS) will give your organization the innovative solutions and conference experience it desires. Our professional staff has combined experience of 15 years in planning and orchestrating every aspect of successful conferences. We manage conferences, programs, events and workshops of all sizes ranging from 15 to over 1,000 participants. We serve as your personal planner by providing the experience and knowledge to guide you through all aspects of the planning, implementation and evaluation of your event. Your conference coordinator will work to ensure that the smallest details are handled efficiently, professionally and responsively.

Correspondence & online studies
With over 87 courses to choose from, Correspondence & Online Studies offers flexibility, quality and selection. You can set your own schedule, work at your own pace and choose the time and place for studying. Enrollment can begin at any time and students can take up to nine months to complete a course. Complete degrees are available.

Distance Degree Programs
Distance Degree Programs coordinates courses and programs offerings with the academic colleges and departments, with courses scheduled to fit adult learners' schedules. Courses are semester-based and are offered in the evenings, on weekends, or online anytime. The delivery method varies with each program, but may include videoconferencing, online, and/or on-site in North Dakota.

extension (Teacher Workshops)
Extension offers workshops and online courses for educators that can be taken for graduate credit. The credit earned through these workshops counts toward certification renewal and local school district salary-lane changes.

online course development
The Online Course Development Team was created to facilitate the development and integration of online curriculum for distance audiences using various technologies and delivery methods.
They work with faculty to develop online courses that fit the instructor's course objectives, facilitate student interaction & motivate the students to engage with the subject. They also utilize textbook publisher resources, original artwork (with copyright permissions) and learning management systems and tools in their designs.

Studio One
Studio One is a live television show produced by the University of North Dakota’s Television Center. The show is telecast live on Thursday afternoons during the fall and spring semesters on Grand Forks Cable Channel 3. It is repeated several times during the week in Grand Forks and in communities across North Dakota, eastern Minnesota, northwestern Oregon and southern Manitoba. More than two million television households have access to Studio One.

Television Center
The Television Center provides video production, graphic and web design services to UND departments and organizations. It offers internships to UND students, and programs Grand Forks Cable Channel 3 and UND Cable Channel 17, Residence Life Cinema.

UND bismarck center
UND Bismarck offers a number of credit and non-credit courses, degrees and certificates.

University within the University (U2)
University Within the University offers learning opportunities for UND faculty, staff, and student employees.
Partners in the University Within the University program include the President's office, Division of Continuing Education, Human Resources, and UND units providing professional development activities.

Workforce Development / Workforce Training
The Office of Work Force Development provides a variety of services to the University’s external clients to include identification of training resources and enhancing the overall operation of an organization’s training program. Other services include needs analysis, grant writing, human resource consulting, management of training initiatives, report writing, strategic planning, and training plan development.
