Certificate Programs delivers courses that are not for academic credit, but rather to earn a certificate of completion giving the participant knowledge for career entry or advancement, or for personal enrichment. Students can take courses any time during the year (courses are not semester-based) and work at their own pace through courses that are delivered by mail or online. Participants do not need to enroll as UND students.

Distance Degree Programs (DDP) offers graduate certificates for academic credit.
