Professional nurses, educators, and other healthcare providers interested in lifelong nursing education including those involved with academia, staff development, and continuing education.

If you do not receive confirmation of your submission within 5 business days, please contact Kristi Conway at kristiconway@mail.und.edu
If accepted, the abstract will be published in the syllabus as submitted.
Selection and Notification
Abstracts will be evaluated by a review committee. Criteria for abstract selection will include importance of the topic relative to conference objectives. Notification of accepted abstracts and commitment for presentation at the conference will be made by Monday, April 5, 2010.
Poster Presentation Awards
Four poster awards will be announced to recognize outstanding quality and presentation. These awards are:
- Student Poster Award
- Research or Evidenced Based Practice Poster Award
- Teaching and Learning Poster Award
- Clinical Practice Poster Award
- Participant Choice Award
To be eligible for judging, posters need to be displayed for the entire assigned poster session. Teams of judges will rate posters during poster sessions. The results of the judging will be announced on the final day of the conference. All judged poster presenters will receive a participation certificate.
Fees
All poster presenters must register for the conference. Presenters are expected to assume costs related to travel, accommodations, and registration. Submission of an abstract signifies intent of the author to present.

Horizontal format
Please do NOT mount on a poster board.
No tables or audio/visual equipment will be allowed in the poster viewing area.

Deadline
Deadline to submit an abstract for a poster presentation is noon on Monday, March 15, 2010. Space is limited so register now to reserve your spot.
Confirmations
The contact person listed on the registration will receive e-mail updates and receipt upon registering. Please retain a copy for your records.
Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Candad Inn. Refer to the Midwest Nurse Educator's Academy to qualify for special rates.
